Terms and Conditions of Use
Article 1 – Scope of application
This website is published by HOCKMEDIA LTD, an English law company, registered under number 15579784, whose registered office is located at Office 17, Aquis House, 27-37 Station Road, Hayes Middlesex UB3 4DX, England (hereinafter referred to as "the Publisher").
These Terms and Conditions of Use (hereinafter the "T&Cs") govern all relationships between the Publisher and professional users (hereinafter the "Users") wishing to access the products and services available on the Documeos website (hereinafter the "Site").
These T&Cs also apply to any visitor to the Site.
The Publisher reserves the right to modify these T&Cs at any time. The applicable version is the one in force at the time of validation of an order by the User.
Article 2 – Acceptance of the Terms and Conditions
Prior to any use of the services, the User acknowledges having read and accepted without reservation these T&Cs, which are therefore fully binding on them.
Any order placed on the Site implies full acceptance of the T&Cs and the obligation to pay for the products or services ordered.
The User waives the right to invoke their own general terms and conditions of purchase, except by prior written agreement between the parties.
If one of the clauses of the T&Cs were to be invalidated, the other provisions would remain applicable. The Publisher may substitute an equivalent clause for the invalidated clause.
Article 3 – Description of products and services
The Publisher makes the following products available on the Site:
- The acquisition of Kbis extracts from companies registered in France
- Access to professional document templates
The following services are also offered:
- Consultation of detailed information on French companies
- Access to data relating to directors and shareholders
- A monitoring service for companies and business sectors
Article 4 – Site access and account creation
4.1 Site access
The Site is accessible to anyone with an Internet connection. However, only Users with an account can access paid products and services.
Visitors benefit from free access to a database listing several million French companies, including essential information: company name, legal form, SIREN and SIRET numbers, registered office, activity, status and creation date.
The Site is accessible at all times, except in case of maintenance, force majeure or circumstances beyond the Publisher's control.
4.2 Account creation
Full access to products and services requires the creation of a user account.
The User must provide accurate information and undertakes to keep it up to date. Login credentials are personal and confidential; their transmission to third parties is strictly prohibited.
The Publisher disclaims any responsibility in case of identity theft. Any suspicion of fraudulent use must be reported immediately.
Each User can only hold one account. In case of breach, the Publisher reserves the right to suspend or delete the account concerned.
Article 5 – Trial offer
New Users can benefit from a trial offer giving them access to all products and services offered on the Site.
A reminder email is sent before the trial offer expires, containing a link to cancel.
To end the trial offer, the User can go to their personal space, send an email to customer support or use the unsubscribe link.
In the absence of cancellation, the trial offer is automatically converted into a subscription, which the User expressly acknowledges.
Each User can only benefit from one trial offer.
Article 6 – Subscription
The subscription gives access to the following features:
- Full access to the database
- Access to all products and services
- Consultation of data relating to directors and shareholders
- Document downloads according to the conditions of the subscribed offer
- Access to customer support
The subscription is monthly and renews automatically, unless cancellation is made before the renewal date.
To cancel, the User can go to their personal space, contact support by email or use the unsubscribe link available at the bottom of the Site.
Prices are subject to change, but the applicable price is the one in force at the time of initial subscription.
Article 7 – Pricing conditions
7.1 Billing
An invoice is made available to the User in their personal space at each due date.
7.2 Payment default
In case of late payment or payment default, the Publisher reserves the right to suspend the subscription and apply late penalties in accordance with applicable legislation.

Article 9 – Obligations and responsibilities
9.1 User responsibilities
The User is solely responsible for the use they make of the products and services.
Information is provided for guidance only, without guarantee of accuracy, reliability or completeness, as it comes from third-party sources.
The following are prohibited:
- Illegal, fraudulent or harmful activities
- Violations of legislation or public order
- Intrusions into third-party computer systems
- Sending unsolicited communications
- Redistribution or abusive exploitation of data
The User must comply with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and applicable legislation on personal data protection.
9.2 Breaches
In case of violation of these T&Cs, the Publisher may suspend or cancel the subscription, initiate legal proceedings and inform the competent authorities.
9.3 Publisher responsibilities
The Publisher is bound by an obligation of means and not of result.
It cannot be held responsible for errors, service interruptions or force majeure. Its liability is limited to direct and proven damages.
Article 10 – Personal data
In accordance with the GDPR and applicable legislation, the Publisher collects and processes personal data for the management of accounts, orders and billing.

Article 11 – Modifications
The Publisher may modify the Site, products, services or these T&Cs at any time.
The applicable version is the one in force on the date of the order.
Article 12 – Intellectual property
All elements of the Site (software, databases, texts, images, logos, trademarks, etc.) are protected by intellectual property law.
Any reproduction, extraction or redistribution without prior written authorization is strictly prohibited.
Access to information does not confer any intellectual property rights on the User.
Article 13 – Language
In case of translation of these T&Cs, the French version prevails in case of contradiction or dispute.
Article 14 – Applicable law and jurisdiction
These T&Cs are governed by English law.
In case of dispute, English courts shall have exclusive jurisdiction.
